I'm sure a lot of you have heard of the children's clothing store Gymboree. Well, they also have a building which holds classes for kiddies I think from ages 0-5 or 6 years old? Anyway, today I went to a class for 6-10 mos. and it was fun! They have so many things for the babies to crawl and climb on and the teacher is so nice and good at what she does. The funniest thing was to see all of the babies interact with each other. Or if you're Claire, not interact so much. It was hilarious to see 10-12 6-10 month old babies sitting around in a circle looking at each other. They offer the first class for free, you just have to register online for the free class so they know how many kids there will be. It's really fun! Anyone who's interested should totally come and try it out. The 6-10 month class is every Wednesday from 12-12:45. The only building they offer this at is on Fort Union Blvd. East of Highland Dr. Go to if you want to get more info on what the classes are like. You should totally commmee!!!!

The Dark Knight Review

Now I know a lot of you have already seen this movie but I thought you'd maybe want my opinion on the matter anyway. This movie was badass, man. Awesome! I was SOOO pleased with Heath Ledger's performance it made me even more angry that he's dead. (I meant terribly sad, did I say angry?) Anyway, Everything was just amazing. The only disappointment was Maggie Gyllenhaal. I never thought I'd say this but they should have just stayed with Katie Holmes. Maggie (yes, we're on a first name basis) did an equal job to Katie and she wasn't even in it a whole lot. It just would have been sweet anyway to keep Katie so they had all the originally cast members, ya know? I usually LOVE Maggie, as you know from my previous post about The Dark Knight, but this time I just wasn't very impressed. She didn't really catch my attention all that much. Christian Bale, hot as usual, and again, Heath Ledger was AMAZING! I didn't think someone so dark could make me laugh so much. Just awesome!

9 Month Check Up!

Yes, that's right, Claire is now 9 months old! In 3 months she'll be one year old! Weird! She's such a great little girl with lots of personality and love in her eyes. My poor little girl has been so sick these past couple of days and it is soooo sad! She had the beginnings of an ear infection so the doctor gave us some antibiotics to give her even though it wasn't a full-blown ear infection. The stupid medicine gave her a yeast infection so I have cream to put on that. The poor thing cries her eyes out every time I change her diaper. And the medicine has also made her poop more. The doctor said her stool would "loosen up a bit". A BIT?? How about A LOT! So she's constantly pooping and so I always have to change her diaper which leads to lots and lots of crying! AND she has an eye infection. So I have to give her eye drops for that. That's not fun for either of us. I have to practically sit on her so she doesn't push my arms away and kick me and then pry open her eyes to get two drops in each eye. On top of all of that she's teething. The poor, poor girl. I feel SO bad for her. I started crying today. And her nose is all runny which just makes her look even worse and makes me even more sad. Anyway, let's get back to the good, happy stuff. Here's what she's up to lately:

-She weighs 20lbs. 13oz. She's in the 70th percentile for her height, 73rd for her weight and get this..... 90 PERCENTILE FOR HER HEAD!!! Yes, yes. I know. She's going to be a GENIUS. I got me alotta girl to love.
-She can crawl! She crawls everywhere. And the funny thing is she'll crawl away from me into a different room and then sit up and cry 'cause I'm not in there haha. Silly girl.
-She can climb all the way up the stairs.
-She claps pretty much after every time she crawls.
-She tilts her head to the side when she's being flirty and knows she's being cute. OH MY GOSH. It's to die for.
-She understands what "no" means and when I say it she'll shake her head back and forth.
-She walks using the furniture for support.
-She can turn the pages when I'm reading a book to her.
-She hands things to me.
-She's eating almost everything I eat. She's like a dog, she watches me eat with her mouth open ready for a bite.
-She can drink from a sippy cup on her own.
-Because she's teething and is so sick lately she hasn't been sleeping well at all.
-She cries every time I leave the room no matter who's wi
th her.
-I'm sure there are a lot of other things I just can't think of anything right now. But she's so cute and I love the crap out of her!

"Young, Gay, Murdered"

That was the title of the news story on I read the story and it was about this 15 year old boy who would wear women's jewelery (canadian spelling, I can't get out of the habit), to school along with high heels, make up, glitter, etc. Even though I personally don't agree with being gay, I DO feel that it's a choice no matter what people say. I still don't feel that they need to be treated any differently than everyone else. Everyone DOES have a choice and if that's what they choose, that's fine! I was watching something horrifying on the television the other day. It was about this religious group (not sure which one) and how God hates gays! Except, they rudely used the word Fags. They were having a family and friends barbeque one day and it showed a man giving his son, who couldn't have been older than 7 years old, a sign that said just that, "God hates fags". How terrible to teach a young child that. God doesn't hate any of us. He loves every one of us. He's sad because of some of the choices we make but he most certainly doesn't hate any of us. It's people like that who teach their kids that message that make this a terrible world. That 15 year old I mentioned earlier was murdered by a classmate because he was gay. And from reading the story it made it sound like the boy felt he was doing everyone a favor, that he was doing the right thing. It said that he was sitting there throughout class staring at the boy from behind, then finally, got up, put a gun to his head and shot him twice. Afterwards, he walked away CALMLY, out of the classroom and went on his way towards home. He was arrested 7 minutes later. I don't agree with that kind of behavior and I know there are people out there who would pat that boy on the back for what he did. People are so confused out there and it scares me. I'll never know what they're going to do next.

"The Dark Knight"

I don't know about anyone else, but I am SO excited for this movie to come out! Levi's mom got us tickets to go see it as a family and I cannot wait!!! I loved the first one and ever since I watched it I couldn't wait for this one to come out, especially after hearing Heath Ledger was going to be in it (pre-death). So sad he died. Watching a preview of "The Dark Knight" almost had me in tears. I've heard great reviews of his performance and I hope I'm as pleased with it as they are. I just hope he gets the attention because he deserves it, not because he died. I'm sure I won't be disappointed. And Christian Bale is always amazing to me. He's such a talented actor and I'm glad he's finally receiving the attention he deserves. I am also glad they replaced Katie Holmes with Maggie Gyllenhaal. Ever since Donnie Darko I've been obsessed with Jake Gyllenhaal and therefore have a little obsession with Maggie Gyllenhaal. So much so I looked up what movies she's been in and rented one that sounded cool: The Secretary-not so cool haha. Don't watch it. Even after watching that, though, I've stayed a fan of hers and I hear she makes a great replacement for Katie Holmes' character. I'M SO EXCITED!!! I'll let you all know what I thought of it after seeing it.

Coming Up: Claire Update

-Table Scoochin'

-Waving "Bye" and "Hi"
-Tilting head to side
-Walking along furniture

Yes, my baby's growing up! Just be ready for the real update post.

Las Vegas

So my sister had the idea of going to Las Vegas for a weekend with her, my mom and myself. It was good times. On the way there my sister was going 95 in a 75 and so some cop thought it would be a good idea to pull her over. Luckily that didn't ruin our trip.
We stayed at Treasure Island (it was the cheapest one there) and the room was sweet! It was all modern and stuff. I wanted all the furniture and wall art in the hotel. The pool was sweet and my mom and I had an awesome view. (view picture below). We pretty much just shopped the whole time. We ate at the Aladdin (now called Planet Hollywood) it was really good food and we ate a ton. I had like, 3 different desserts. MMM. I was hoping to get some clothes for Levi from H&M but oddly they didn't have any good things for him there. Usually they have rad guy clothes. I was bummed about that, I love shopping for Levi. However, they had good stuff for me haha so I went crazy. THEN, we went to Urban Outfitters and Andrea and I had a blast with their glasses. We were having fun and laughing a ton the whole trip. I love it when we hang out like that, it's so much fun.

4th of July Weekend!

The Fourth of July was a really fun weekend. On Friday Levi and I did something really fun, I'm sure, I just can't remember what. At night we went to the Bees game to watch the fireworks. It was Claire's first time and she loved it for about a minute and then got A.D.D. Sound familiar? Hmm... wonder where she got that from. But she didn't get scared or anything, what a girl. On Saturday we had a barbeque with some of Levi's friends for Adam's birthday (that was on Sunday). It was really nice to have everyone together. They don't get to hang out very often and it was just really nice. I just wish more of them were married so I could have some friends! Come on guys!!! (When I say more I mean more than the ONE of Levi's good friends who's married.) Anyway, we had good food, good conversation, and I loved being a hostess so that was great too. Afterwards, me and some of the guys went up to Bell Canyon to get on some rafts. The water was FREEZING so I didn't get in, 'cause I'm smart. Everyone else, not so much. They jumped in and screamed like girls. Really funny. The highlight of that trip was Shane caught a turtle. He wouldn't poke his head out, though, but it was cute nonetheless. It was a great weekend and the weather was perfect. Good stuff.
