Fun Saturday

Saturday we went up to Bell Canyon for a little hike. I love hiking and I wish I could find someone who liked it as much as I do so I could go more often and on harder hikes. Oh well... Anyway, we hiked up to the lake and hung out there for a while. It was a lot of fun! Chief and Erin's little boy, Jackson, was so cute throwing rocks into the water. I kept trying to find him good rocks for him to throw, I think I may have gotten a little carried away. I couldn't help myself. Adam and Greg, being the manly men that they are actually jumped into the water, full body, head under the water and everything. This water is IIIICCEEE cold... yeah, like the song! Heeeey yeaahh!
After the hike Levi and I went with his sisters to the pool. Now, the ONLY reason I'm posting a picture of us in our bathing suits is because I want everyone to see how freaking tan Cheyenne and Sage are and how pale I am. If anyone's familiar with Jim Gaffigan, I'm definitely on pale force. DEFINITELY. If you haven't heard Gaffigan's stuff, listen to it NOW! He's the funniest person I've ever heard. We went and saw him last summer and hope to go again this summer, he's HILARIOUS. I was laughing so hard last summer that people were actually staring at me. Ask Jenny Sanders sister, she was there, sitting right behind us. She probably thought I was NUTS. She doesn't know who I am, that happens to me a lot. So if she ever reads this she'll probably think I'm weird for writing about her, along with Jenny. So I'll stop now....

Okay, so this video of Claire is the funniest thing to date. She figured this out while we were in the car on the way to the pool and kept doing it the whole time.  Now she can't remember what to do so she doesn't do it anymore, at least not for today. Turn off the music at the bottom of my blog before you play this. Or not, you still might be able to hear her, I don't know. If you get bored of watching Claire then you can watch the hot man in the background wearing the red shorts. MMM SEXAAYY!!
This was probably the worst post ever. Too much rambling, but I'm so cold my fingers are turning white and I think I ramble when I'm cold. Sorry!

Backin' up Jane

So I just wanted to reiterate how wonderfully hard Jane's workout video is... Ya know, the one I previously posted about? Well, last night Adam came over and He, Levi and I all did the arms portion of the vid. Yeah, they both SUCKED! Haha, not really but they were complaining the whole time to have it be over with 'cause it was so hard. SO TRY IT! NOW!!!!!! Or not, that's cool too...

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

WORST MOVIE EVER!!!!!! Levi and I went with Greg and his girlfriend, Jess, to go see this movie on Friday... luckily it was through Greg's work and it was FREE. I would have been extremely disappointed in myself for actually buying a ticket to this movie (sorry Adam). Oh my gosh, the acting, the plot.... the plot..... THE PLOT, was sooooo bad!!!!! I mean, ALIENS? Come on!!
And one of the worst lines I've ever heard:
- "Are they going to space?"
-"No, they're going to the space between spaces."

Jane Fonda-My Idol

I just wanted to dedicate a post to my hero, Jane. Yes, we're on a first name basis. Although, I hang out with the young Jane, not the current Jane. I have been doing this workout video of hers for 5 years now and my mom AND DAD did it when they first got married... when it was only on a RECORD! I thought that was funny stuff. They had all these goofy drawings you had to follow while listening to her voice. Anyway, it's called "The Challenge". And boy are those words perfect for this video (haha)! But seriously, it's hard! The only part that isn't that challenging is the aerobics part, especially if you're a dancer (I'm not, but it's still not that hard).  Everything else, though, I dare you to try and not cry. What I mainly do are the arms and the abs sections. If I'm feeling up for it I do everything else but I usually only care about arms and abs and then I run or something. This video's especially great for girls who want to looked toned and not buff from all that weight lifting (although, I do feel that weight lifting is very important). I especially like the abs section because she just keeps going without stopping until the end. It's awesome! I suggest everyone try it. You can only buy it online, or if you want to come over and do it with me, that'd be cool too. OR, I could just come to your house and show you (kidding) I pretty much know line for line and move for move the whole video. THANKS JANE, I LOVE YOU!!

Can't Wait For Lake Powell!

Okay, that may have been the wrong title for this post... I probably CAN wait for Lake Powell because I'm dreading leaving Claire. However, I AM excited to see it for the first time and sleep in as long as I want (that's a lie, I don't have the ability to sleep in, it sucks).  Not being from Utah, I've never seen Lake Powell, but I've heard great things. Levi's a little bummed because we were supposed to go for a full week but I don't think I can do that so we're only going for 4 days. One step at a time!! I haven't even left Claire for a night yet! And she's my only friend! (sad... hint hint).

So anyway, yesterday was so nice so my mom and I went to the pool with Claire. The water was cold at first but then it was fine after a while. Claire loves
the pool, which is awesome, I don't have to deal with a crying baby. That and she won't have to deal with a mom forcing her into the water so she learns to like it. But, that could change, seeing how she used to love the bath and now she hates it unless she's standing up. I really wish they'd design some cooler baby hats for the pool 'cause I hate every single one of them. This was the coolest hat I could find. She needs one 'cause she's so freaking bald. Grow some hair already!!! Haha. Ohhh... I'm laughing at myself.... I don't even think anyone reads these anymore so I'm okay. Except you Andrea, I know you always do. Thanks for the support.
The only reason I'm putting this picture of Claire and myself is because I just wanted to show everyone my haircut and sunglasses. This is what I looked like when my nephew said to me, "You look like Willy Wonka!" How embarrassing. Why am I posting about that? I have no idea. It's not going to help me in the friend department, I'm almost sure of that. I just thought it was funny, I guess. Yesterday was the first time I wore these glasses since he said that. Now I just need to change my haircut.

Oh, another reason I'm excited to go to Lake Powell is that I'll have something else to blog about. I know everyone's sick of hearing about Claire.

Wedding Tag

2. WHERE DID YOU GET MARRIED? Manti, UT in the Manti temple.

3. WHO PROPOSED AND HOW? Levi proposed to me on the 3rd of July (in Utah they don't celebrate the 4th of July if it's on a Sunday so they do it the 3rd). He took me up into the mountains, brought some binoculars and tied the ring to them so that when I used them to look at the fireworks it would hit me in the face.... that didn't work so well, it was pretty funny 'cause it took me a while to notice that it was there. It took a lot of hinting from Levi.

4. HOW LONG WERE YOU ENGAGED? 2 months. I know, short. But what's the point in waiting when you know you're going to get married, right?

5. WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF YOUR WEDDING DAY? ( AND IT CAN'T BE YOUR HUSBAND) The fact that we had a Barbeque and had the Utes game on in the basement haha. Yes, it was AWESOME. We got so many compliments that it was the best, most relaxed reception ever. That's how I wanted people to feel.

6. WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE IF YOU COULD? I would have worn the wedding dress I had originally planned on wearing. My mom was supposed to alter it but got white fabric that didn't match my dress. So, at 7 the night before my wedding I had to go buy the first dress I saw 'cause the store was closing. I want to get my dress re-altered and go take new pictures, seriously. I hated every single one of our pictures. Levi looked great, though.

7. WEDDING COLORS? No colors. I just wanted to make sure there were Snap Dragons everywhere.

9. WERE YOU CLEAN OR MESSY WHEN YOU CUT YOUR CAKE? We didn't have a cake. I wanted Cinnabons but that didn't work out either (lame) so we had doughnuts and cupcakes.

10. WHERE DID YOU GO ON YOUR HONEYMOON? We were supposed to go to Florida but the night before our wedding there was a Hurricane. Yeah, I know... so we went to Las Vegas and stayed in Levi's grandparents condo. It was really fun, I still need to get the pictures developed haha. Yes, I'm awesome.

I'm bored..

Claire's sleeping right now and I got everything done that I needed to get done so I'm bored. I took some pictures of Claire yesterday and this morning so I hope you enjoy those (I'm sure you've had enough, but I haven't). And there's a video of her on her swing. Babies are supposed to lounge in their swings, sit back, relax and enjoy the show, but she doesn't play that way. She likes to sit up in her swing. It's the funniest thing ever. I took a picture of it once but I didn't think that really portrayed the hilarity of the situation very well so I decided to do a video.

I got Claire this t-shirt that says "What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?" I don't usually like shirts that have sayings on them like that, but I really liked this one. It could be because Claire and I have been listening and dancing to the Hokey Pokey quite a lot, lately. Such a good song. Plus, when I was 4 or 5 we went to a roller skating rink they'd have contests of who could sing the Hokey Pokey the loudest and I won! So the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about for me.

Also, we're moving to Daybreak in 3-5 months from now. They're building our house so we have to wait a while. They're going to start digging the hole sometime next week. I was hoping it would be sooner but whatever. In the meantime, Levi and I are going to live with my parents. They have a cute house that will fit us all. I'll have constant company and help, which will be nice. Plus, they have Guitar Hero and Rock Band so if nothing else, that'll for sure make it worth living there. I'm sure I'll be a pro within the first few weeks of living there (those games are so addicting). The only con to living there is that Levi won't be able to come home for lunch anymore :( I love that! Right now we live literally 2 minutes away from his work so he comes home every day pretty much. It's the best thing ever. So I'll just have to get used to not seeing him as often. Sad... Anyway, if you want to see pictures of the model home that's exactly like our house go to, put your mouse over Home Buyer and then click on "quick move-ins". It's the Savannah house, the second one down. You can click on the picture of the house and they have other pictures of the inside. It's a cute little house but big enough for us. We're REALLY excited. For those of you who aren't from Utah (I'm pretty much just talking to you, Aaron), Daybreak is the largest planned community in the U.S. and it has an old fashioned neighborhood feel to it. It's really cute.
